The following terms will be applied to Pyhäkirnu cabin reservations or their cancellations. Terms of reservation and cancellation (booking conditions). The following terms will be applied to Pyhäkirnu reservations or their cancellations. These terms will become binding to both parties as soon as the client makes the advance payment for the cabin he has reserved. ________________________________________________________________

Reservation and payment

The reservation will be confirmed after the client makes the advance payment of 30 percent of the total rent by the date due (within a 7 day period from the date of the bill). If the reservation is made for a period of four weeks or longer, the advance payment will be 50 percent of the total rent. If the reservation is made six weeks or less before the stay, the whole rent will be paid in one instalment. The final instalment will be due for payment, at the latest, six weeks before the start of the holiday. In the event of the final instalment not being paid by the date due, the reservation will be considered cancelled. Together with the bill, the client will be sent confirmation of the reservation, and directions to either the place where the keys can be collected, or directly to the cabin. If necessary, the client should be able to present the owner with a receipt showing that the appropriate payments have been made.



All cancellations must be made in writing and delivered to Pyhäkirnu. A cancellation will be accepted when Pyhäkirnu receives it. In the event of a cancellation being late or failing to arrive, it can still be accepted if the client can verify that the cancellation was made and sent to the correct address in good time. An advance payment will be charged for a cancellation of a reservation. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the start of the holiday, the whole rent will be charged. If Pyhäkirnu can rent the cabin whose reservation has been cancelled to another client, as much of the rent will be refunded as can be charged from the new client. However, the advance payment will not be refunded. The client has the right to reclaim the rent he has paid Pyhäkirnu, excluding the advance payment, if the cancellation is caused by a sudden illness, serious accident or death - either of the client himself or of a person who lives in the same household as the client. In such a case, the cancellation must be made without delay and the incident must be verified in a suitable way (medical certificate, etc.). If the cancellation is made during the holiday, the rent will not be refunded. If the client changes the holiday location, or the timing of the holiday, this will be considered a cancellation of the old reservation and a making of a new reservation. ________________________________________________________________

The rights of Pyhäkirnu to cancel a reservation

In case of a force majeure the owner of the cabin is responsible for notifying the client about the termination of the contract immediately. In this case the client has the right to be refunded the whole of the rent paid to Pyhäkirnu. Pyhäkirnu is not responsible for making reservation that compensates.


Handing over of keys

The keys to the holiday accommodation will be handed over to the client at the estimated time of arrival, which the client had previously notified the owner about beforehand, either by telephone or in writing.

Staying at the holiday location

The holiday accommodation is at the client's disposal from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival, until 12 noon on the day of departure. The weekly rent of a cabin gives the client the right to freely use the cabin and the sauna. Included in the rent are the furniture, cooking equipment and tableware. The cabin comes equipped with pillows, blankets and mattresses. Linen not included in the rent. The clients themselves are responsible for cleaning the cabin during their stay. Before leaving clients have to return furniture and other things their own place. If additional services- Finall cleaning and bed linen and towells. Client take care of rubbish and dishes. If you did not order additional services with accommodation booking, please do cleaning yourself and bring your own bed linen with you. . _______________________________________________________________

Compensation for damage

The client is under obligation to compensate the cabin owner directly for any damage he has incurred to the cabin, or the movable property with in it. ________________________________________________________________

Security and Damage Deposit

When the client arrives at the cabin the owner has the right to charge a damage and security deposit up to a maximum of 500 €. Usually is 100 €. This deposit is a guarantee that the client will treat the cottage he/she is renting, in a clean, proper, and responsible way. The security deposit is fully refundable when the cottage is left in the same condition as when the rental period started, and all terms of the agreement are met. As a result of costs incurred from necessary repairs or cleaning of the cottage, the owner has a right to withhold some or all of this deposit from the client. ________________________________________________________________

Number of persons

The cabin cannot be used by more people than the number of beds provided in the apartment. Permission must be obtained from the apartment owner for any possible overnight guests. It is prohibited to pitch a tent or keep a caravan on the plot of land surrounding.


Possible complaints

The owner, or the person in charge of the cabin, must be informed immediately of any comments or complaints concerning the equipment or the condition of the cabin. If the situation does not improve, the client should contact owner of the cabin within 24 hours.


Renting period

The cabin will be at your disposal from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival to 12 noon on the day of departure.


Smoking and pets

Smoking and pets are prohibited inside the cottage.
